Le Belgian Rum Classic
After distillation, the rum is placed in new American oak barrels for a minimum of one year. The character of rum evolves and takes on color on contact with wood. The new barrels give a very present woodiness, with notes of roasting and caramel. The rum is then withdrawn from the barrel and reduced at the rate of 45 °. No filtration, no addition of sugar or caramel is carried out, in order to preserve the character and authenticity of the rum.
